Kellie martin is an American TV, film and stage actress. Her most well-known roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy", Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Also, she is known for appearing in the titular role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin's acting career started at age seven, when an aunt a former nanny who cared for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' She began acting professionally following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her being offered major parts in both the television as well as the film industry. Martin is, in addition to being an excellent actor and dancer, she is also a skilled ballet photographer. The mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease daily since the loss of her sister, who was age 19.
