Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha announced that he was transgender. Sasha had a difficult time and was unsure if by the support of his music and friends they would help him handle it. Jim and Sasha are both song writers and are just beginning to form an official band. Since then they've performed at many local venues such as open mics. The Voice coaches didn't discuss Sasha's history, however Jim and he talked about their journey before performing. They talked about their favorite songs and the first guitar that Sasha owned. His father was a teacher was a huge help for him to master the art. Sasha was born a female and was struggling to establish his identity when he was an infant. In a post on Instagram the teen shared his struggles. Jim was overwhelmed with emotion when he explained why the reason he was not a part of these trying times. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant was born a girl. The age of Sasha Allen will be 19 by 2021. Sasha was able to make the transition from male when he first entered high school. Sasha posted on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person ever to appear on this show and I'm excited to represent transgender people in such a broad platform."
